  • ½ grapefruit
  • ½ banana
  • 1 cup whole or soy milk
  • 1 scoop 1 scoop unsweetened Green Superfood powder, such as Amazing Grass, Pure Synergy, or Garden of Life Green Superfood*
  • ½ avocado
  • 1 serving protein powder (enough to equal 22g of protein)
  • 1 tsp MCT oil or coconut oil
  • handful of leafy greens, optional


  • Peel grapefruit and remove any seeds.
  • Place remaining flesh with all other ingredients in a high-speed blender, or wide mouth mason jar that can fit an immersion blender without splashing.
  • Blend until smooth.



For more sour flavor to enhance the detoxifying properties for spring: Omit the banana and use 1 whole grapefruit.
