I’ll read that a food is great for me, and then a few years later, that same food is the scourge of nutrition, and back again. Additionally, the sources of food advice are often suspect. It’s hard to tell without extensive research if the people advocating for their nutrition opinions are experts in their field, or instead know even less than I do.
I approached AH with caution. As I started reading it, I became more and more impressed. Dr. Ludwig has the education and experience credentials to speak with true authority. Beyond that, he explains the science in a way that makes it accessible to non-experts without dumbing it down.
